Don't blame him, he's old.

"I got the wrong Courtney," says Art Deaner when he was supposed to pick up Courtney Fetters, the daughter of Deaner's friend.
Courtney Durr was waiting to be picked up by her mom's friend after school on Tuesday in Gloucester City, N.J. Both were supposed to be picked up at the same bus stop. When Deaner pulled up and asked for a Courtney who resembled the Courtney he was supposed to picking up. The girl said her name was Courtney and hopped in Deaner's car. The usual crossing guard had noticed that the car the Durr usually goes in didn't look like Deaner's. She wrote down  She was They talked for a while and Deaner asked her about a vacation that 6-year-old Courtney Fetters had taken. 9-year-old Durr denied ever staying with anyone on a vacation and ever going on the vacation. Deaner realized that he had the wrong Courtney.
"I know Courtney was in Maine for two weeks," said Deaner. "I had to turn around and take her back. I got the wrong Courtney."
"He was like, 'You weren't with Aunt Mary in Maine?'" said Courtney Durr. "No, I would never have been in Maine."
As he was about to turn around to take Durr back, police had pulled him over and arrested him. They had gotten to him from the crossing guard's notice. He had gotten out of being charged with abduction after questioning.
"I forgive them!" said Pam Durr, Courtney Durr's mother. "They didn't know any better because they haven't seen her in a while."
Courtney Fetters was found safe but confused on when someone was coming to pick her up. Deaner said he just didn't recognize her because of the recent haircut and hadn't seen her in a few weeks. (A few weeks is a long time for Deaner)

Apple’s software chief gets the boot over Maps apology.

Apple iOS software chief Scott Forstall was let off after refusing to sign an apology about the many flaws of iOS 6’s Apple Maps which was less favorable compared to it’s earlier version of Google Maps.
According to other executives at Apple, this was the latest clash between them and Forstall. Forstall was responsible for Apple Maps, this is why he is supposed to sign, not Tim Cook. Forstall "never fit into the culture at Apple," and always was overconfident about his position. Along with his overconfidence and bad cooperation, Forstall boasted too much about his close relationship with Steve Jobs. Some of these things just seem like problems everyone just had to get off their chest and that Forstall was not a likeable person.
Also being shown the door out is John Browett, who was forced to apologize earlier this year over staff cutbacks at the company's stores. He’s already been kicked out, earlier this year. Forstall won't actually leave until next year, but Apple’s already looking for a replacement. A lot of positions have been changed since this incident, like Siri and iOS 6.
“We still have ambitious plans for the future,” says Apple. As for now, Tim Cook will be in Forstall’s chair more or less until he leaves.

The forced has been punched.

Ikbal Hare didn't know the real power of the dark side, until he punched it in the face.
Ikbal Hare is the man who decided to punch Darth Vader in the face, but ended up hitting Mrs. Vader instead. Yes, that is his name, Darth Vader who changed his name from Mark Nokes years ago. This story doesn't really have anything to do with Star Wars, but it's a good story when the guy's name is Darth Vader. Ikbal Hare (35) accused Vader of having romantic connections with his wife. This is why Hare decided to give Vader a little of his force, but went too far and gave it Mrs. Vader. Hare pleaded guilty in court today and is going to spend 18 months probation and go to anger management. He will also perform 200 hours of unpaid work.
“There was a scuffle involving the two men and Mrs Vader tried to get between them," Prosecutor Tim Sapwell said in court yesterday. "The defendant struck her but there is evidence that, in fact, he had been trying to hit Darth Vader," Sapwell said. Mrs. Vader ended up with a bruised cheek After Hare connected with Mrs. Vader, he fled to his girlfriend's house. Vader locked his wife in the house to prevent any other scuffling between the two.Vader could not catch up with Hare, but Hare was arrested two days later.
"He's just some idiot shouting his mouth off. It's over as far as I'm concerned, " said Vader. He followed by saying that the whole incident was a big misunderstanding and isn't to concerned about the ordeal. Vader isn't charged with anything, but had a feel of how force the strong is with him and the UK police.
Darth Vader is said to have changed his name to raise money for charity.

Politics second most popular street.

“I’m going to stop the subsidy to PBS,” said Mitt Romney at the presidential debate. Ever since then, all arrows point to Sesame Street.
Big Bird wouldn't comment on politics, but had a few jokes when he joined Seth Meyers on SNL last Saturday.

"I’m not going to keep on spending money on things to borrow money from China to pay for.”
After Mitt Romney said this at the presidential debate last Wednesday, there's been so many jokes that relate to PBS, Sesame Street and it's funding. Most of the jokes come from the internet and shows like Kimmel and David Letterman. Big Bird has even made an appearance on Saturday Night Live. Big Bird said he "doesn't want to ruffle any feathers," but gets his word out and doesn't seem to worry about losing his job anytime soon.

The show has been running for over forty years, eight million views a week with 43 seasons and President Obama is working to keep them on air for their 44th. He's gone so far now, that he's even campaigning with Big Bird. But we all know, this isn't mainly for Sesame Street, its for four more years. If it doesn't work out, it's four more  months. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has many great shows that bring in lots of views like POV, Austin City Limits, American Masters and of course Sesame Street.
If PBS does end up with nothing, this won't have much of an effect at all to Sesame Street because they get “very, very little funding” from PBS, says  Sesame Street's executive vice president Sherrie Westin. Most of the funds come from either donations, sponsors or product sales. The twitter account @BlGBlRD has been created for Big Bird and has gathered over 30,000 followers since then. Although it focuses on this topic, it's "Not affiliated w/ Sesame Street or PBS." from the twitter account. Since 2011, the federal government has spent about 43 million dollars to support PBS, but this money also splits up to NPR and other stations like them. Most people say that things should work smoothly for PBS and Sesame Street will be able to keep it's name.
